“The
Ironhorsemen” and John Milius, the “Renegade Legend”
Trivia
John Milius wrote the line "Go ahead, make my day"
for Clint Eastwood's Dirty Harry.
Conan the Barbarian, Clear and present danger, Red Dawn, Apocalypse
Now, Dirty Harry, Miami Vice…all incredible movie and TV shows
that John Milius has been writer or producer on.
John Milius is a man’s man. “He says what’s on
his mind and acts on what’s in his head”, says Terry
Leonard, famous stunt coordinator in all the big pictures in Hollywood.
Milius is also a gun collector and an avid cowboy historian. But
one big thing that’s sitting in his heart is that he’s
a motorcycle maniac, a wanna-be biker bad boy and a freedom lover.
For John the motorcycle represents FREEDOM. Ride Free, live free,
freedom of the road.
So comin’ out in 2006-2007 is the biggest, badass motorcycle
movie to come out since “Easy Rider”. Its title is “The
Iron Horsemen”, which is based on “Jornada Del Muerte”.
A “good guy vs. the bad guys” scenario with a wonderful
moral ending. You know, in the vein of Rambo, or like John Wayne
in the “War Wagon”. And what the heck, might as well
throw in a little bit of the classic Clint Eastwood like ‘Hang
‘Em High”.
What’s so exciting about this project is the timing couldn’t
be better. America needs heroes. Our cowboy is a U.S. veteran and
the horse has been replaced with the hot fully custom “American
Motorcycle 1902” 110 hp. V-Twin, w/ sexy chrome & paint,
and a radical 300 rear & 300 front tire.
And, American Motorcycle 1902, and Branscombe Richmond, have partnered
with John Milius and his crew to create the biggest, baddest, radical
motorcycles we can build for starring roles in this movie.
We don’t want to give too much away on the story, but you
will absolutely dig this movie. If you keep watching www.AMC1902.com
we will be showing you the creation of the 4 radical custom bikes
that American Motorcycle 1902 built for this movie. Stay tuned…visit
frequently. But in the meantime, check out the 10
questions we ask John. And then check
out Milius’s credits…
From your biker on the street. Mr. Z.
